Quran Courses Available for Students in Canada
Classes are available for kids and adults, with certified female teachers available on request. Every family starts with a completely free trial class — no card required.
Six Time Zones, One Schedule That Works
Canada stretches from Newfoundland to British Columbia, so a "7 pm class" means very different things in St. John's and Vancouver. That's not a problem with one-on-one lessons. Your class is booked in your own local time, whether you're in Halifax, Toronto, Winnipeg, Calgary or Vancouver, and the teacher works around it.
Most provinces move their clocks forward on the second Sunday in March and back on the first Sunday in November, but most of Saskatchewan and Yukon don't change at all. Whichever applies to you, double-check your lesson time in the week clocks change.
Fitting Classes Around Canadian Family Life
For school-age children, the usual choices are after school, early evening and weekend mornings. Long winter evenings are actually a good time to build a steady Quran habit, since everyone's at home. Adults often pick early mornings before work or later evenings once the house is quiet.
Courses for Kids and Adults
Children new to Arabic start with Noorani Qaida, then move to Quran reading, Tajweed and, when they're ready, Hifz. Many parents also add Islamic Studies. Adults can start at any level; see our adult classes page. If you'd like a woman teacher, we have female Quran teachers too.
