Hafiz Muhammad Anas Ahmed teaches many of the academy’s youngest students. His classes usually start with Noorani Qaida, the Arabic letters and their sounds, and carry on into reading the Quran itself.
Teaching children online takes patience and a feel for when a child has had enough. Lessons are one-on-one, so he can slow down, go over a letter again, or change the activity when attention starts to slip. He also teaches Qaida and Quran reading to adult beginners.
What Hafiz Muhammad Anas Ahmed teaches
- Noorani Qaida for Beginners
Every Arabic letter and its sound, the short vowels, joining letters into words, and rules like sukoon, shaddah and madd, with correct pronunciation from the first lesson. - Quran Classes for Kids
Short, patient one-on-one lessons covering Qaida, Quran reading, short surahs, du’as and good manners, with parents welcome to sit in. - Quran Reading (Nazra)
Reading smoothly and confidently from the Mushaf, with Tajweed applied as you read and correct places to pause and carry on.
Who these classes suit
- Noorani Qaida for Beginners: complete beginners of any age, from young children to adults and new Muslims who never learned the letters.
- Quran Classes for Kids: children who are just starting out with the Quran.
- Quran Reading (Nazra): students who can already recognise Arabic letters and want to read more fluently, including those preparing for Hifz.
How a class works
Every lesson is live and one-on-one over video, so it’s only you (or your child) and the teacher. You choose the days and times, and lessons can run from 15 minutes to an hour. Your teacher keeps track of what you’ve covered and what needs more practice, and parents of younger students are welcome to sit in on any class.
